Your Main Man Returns!

Hey! I've been back and forth for a few months to the States and have not paid much attention to this site but I am back now and with the new site up and running I will be able to add some more recent shows to the archives so listen in to the live shows and watch here for more older shows!

Check out the latest show from PJ and Eric

Wednesday October 25th Show

This weeks show will be devoted to the 3 fantastic gigs this past weekend to celebrate the 10th anniversary for the Dirty Water Club starting with the Monks on Thursday October 19th, the Fleshtones on the Friday and on the Saturday the reunion of the Parkinsons along with great performances by the Priscillas and Thee Excitors. PJ will be my guest (yet again!) and give some of the highlights and downspots of the 10 year history of the best club for garage/trash anywhere. He will be bringing in material to play from some of the groups presented at the club during the history of this great venue.

Life is sweet...

...it could not get any better, right?

Just when you thought you had lived to the max, shot your wad, flushed your stash and trashed your cash on living flash there is suddenly another two great festivals on the horizon, both featuring The Cannibals on stage and the inimitable Mike Spenser spinning the disks.

13th of October is the date for the 2nd 'Funtastic Dracula Carnival' at Les Palmeres Beach near Sueca (Valencia).

17th of November is party time in Brussels, 2 days and nights of Bands and DJs at the 'Beat Expo'.

Yo! The Trash Can is back on the air!

Hello all you lovely Troglicytes! The Trash Can will be returning for a new series starting Wednesday October 4th for 1 hour at 10 - 11pm London time...more soon. Please remember to start sending me more material and links to some more cool bands you think might be suitable for the show...the trashier the better!

July 15th and last show till Autumn

I have been off this site due to waiting for a new Broadband connection which has been taking ages to get! Dial Up sucks as I said once before. Once back on I will be hoping to have a regular show same time on Saturdays and maybe more on my own stream using Ogg Vorbis to stream with. Listen out for the plans...In the meantime, todays show should be really good with the great and wonderful Stabilisers as guests. I am planning to concentrate on all the really fantastic Medway bands to come out of that hotbed of great music...seeya later!

The Trash Can on Resonance FM to rest..new shows to come! (eh???)

The Trash can will end its current series on Resonance FM July 15th. The show has been live most of the time since the beginning of November and needs a rest. Resonance FM have told me that the show can resume in the autumn. I will take the time to put as many of the shows already recorded in the archive section and also will be preparing a new demo for some of the major national and local London radio stations. I hope to continue with an internet version, live each wek from my home studio at the same time plus more shows during the week. I might even have live sessions from my studio as well. I have an idea to do a new kind of show called "Kiss Mike Hunt". In the meantime, I will still be accumulating and needing new material all the time so if you have a band, know of a good band or have any ideas of some interest still send me you stuff...same address in the Contact section here...This posting is a read/write one so feel free to make any comments on this posting...all the emails and comments sent to me have been positive so let's keep this thing alive and growing....
